I argue that both on-street and off-street parking in the RBD should be priced appropriately to foster the vibrant, walkable downtown with shops and restaurants that East Palo Alto residents have long desired.

Next week on March 18, 2025, East Palo Alto's City Council will take the first reading of a draft Residential Parking Permit Program ordinance. While I support the parking permit program, there are some important changes I would like to see to make this successful.

Some East Palo Alto streets face heavy cut-through traffic as navigation apps route drivers through illegal turns. By submitting corrections to Google and Apple Maps, I helped redirect traffic to main roads, aligning with city planning efforts to reduce congestion in residential areas.

Google Maps now prioritizes East Palo Alto’s newly added bike lanes for safer and more efficient cycling, benefiting both residents and cyclists from nearby cities.

I analyze drone video footage of bottlenecking at East Bayshore Rd & Laura Ln in Palo Alto, which negatively impacts East Palo Alto residents driving home during PM rush hour.
